How it came to be.
Gilded Heart was birthed from the American Dream of making money off of something you love, and the vision to alter perceptions of tattoo shops and artists. As a tattoo shop, they strive for cleanliness and order. Early on in the design process, Jason and Luke decided to not be like other tattoo shops; they didn’t want the gothic vampiric look of reds, blacks, and steel. Instead, they wanted an open and clean look. They wanted to be able to look out the window and see people passing by and show the world that there is nothing to hide. Picking a name for the shop wasn’t an easy decision; originally, they started out with over 60 names to choose from, and they ended with Gilded Heart. Both Jason and Luke are great to be around and make one feel welcomed and safe. If you’re looking for a straightforward honest environment, Gilded Heart is where you want to go.
